What makes your practice different from any other dentist in your city?
The way you answer this question and communicate what makes you unique is incredibly important. Marketers call it “your brand,” and it’s a concept that’s vital for attracting and retaining patients.
The purpose of your brand is to clearly and consistently communicate the experience and services you provide — visually, textually, and in person. Without a brand, you risk being just another dental practice, lost in a sea of hundreds of other dentists.
Today, we’re highlighting a collection of the best dental brands of 2021. Review these examples, see what these brands are doing right, and consider how your own practice branding holds up to the competition. Ask yourself — is my practice a brand?
And remember, patients are much more likely to choose a brand they connect with over a generic alternative.
1. Grand Street Dental
Grand Street Dental is one of the most well-known dental brands in the US. Pegged the “hipster dentist,” Dr. Jennifer Plotnick successfully turned her practice into a lifestyle brand.
This practice is modeled after something more like a yoga studio or boutique than a traditional dentist office. Their brand may be best be described by their bright, art and plant-filled office, popular Instagram account, all female staff, and highly personalized and high-tech patient experience.

2. Green Leaf Dental
This Seattle-based dental practice has a strong brand vision — and it’s working! With an adorable yet sophisticated tone, their website immediately communicates what they’re all about — a family-friendly oasis with a service-oriented approach.
Their logo, colors, and font choices nod to both their local focus and preventive & pediatric services. Their brand can also be felt throughout their office, complete with chalkboard walls for kids, tvs above every chair, heated massage pads, and modern decor.

3. Bowles Dental
Bowles Dental came to Delmain looking to modernize their brand while remaining approachable. We knew their brand needed to reflect their belief that a perfect smile is less about creating perfection, but rather emphasizing the quirks that make it unique.
Our team presented a logo that was modern and minimal. We emphasized confidence and quality through deep warm blues and reflected their fun, welcoming team with pops of mango yellows.
The end result is a beautiful and modern website that perfectly describes who they are as a practice and how they help improve the lives of their patients.

The Tend brand reinvents the patient experience, carefully crafting every part of a visit to ensure convenience and comfort.
Scroll through their website and you can immediately feel the difference in this practice’s approach. And importantly, the color palette, design, and content on the site are consistent with the experience offered in-person at their studios.
5. Brimfield Family Dentistry
Brimfield Family Dentistry came to Delmain as a brand new practice. Dr. Martin’s goal with opening this practice was to offer world-class dentistry in an approachable setting. To him, world-class care means a smile that looks great and is healthy without the stereotypical painful, uncertain trips to the dentist.
Our task was to reflect all this through custom dental branding — and we did! A modern but comforting green color combined with a welcoming script font sets the tone. Engaging but minimalist icons combined with bright, happy images and welcoming copy helped Dr. Martin put his best foot forward from day one.

6. Studio Dental
The Studio Dental brand is unique in many ways. This practice leans heavily on technology — and not just dental technology. Patients schedule their appointments online, fill out patient paperwork on an iPad, and enjoy Netflix during their appointment.
The practice’s logo and site design reflect this experience. They round out their brand by using language that’s modern and approachable. From their tagline, “service meets design” to the first sentence on their homepage, a casual “here’s the deal.”

7. Westpark Pediatric Dentistry
This pediatric dental office captures the spirit of childhood to create a dental brand that kids adore and parents trust. Westpark Pediatric Dentistry creates their brand around the concept of an animal adventure — equating their services to a smile safari where dentists help fend off hungry beasts like tooth decay.
With bright colors, fun imagery, and cute messaging, this practice has branded itself as a safe and enjoyable place for children of all ages to receive dental care.

8. Laser Dentistry of Erie
Dr. Starr came to us with a problem to solve — because of their name, this long-standing family practice was often viewed as too specialized. In passing, people didn’t understand that this all-encompassing practice offered anything more than laser dentistry.
We helped reflect just how approachable this dentist was through all-new branding, including a new logo. Their updated brand now features:
- An accomplished but unique logo
- Bright sky blue accents emphasize their friendly and non-judgmental style
- Horizontal lines and wave-like graphics feel modern but approachable
- All original photography of their team is the cherry on top!

9. Dental Bar
Right away, this practice has a unique advantage by being the first walk-in dental bar in NYC. However, it’s interesting to see how they communicate their uniqueness and solidify their brand with a simple and mobile-friendly website design.
This dental brand uses a casual voice to tie in their casual approach to dentistry. “What’s on the menu?” they prompt a visitor to ask, before providing a selection of services and dental packages they can choose from.
